The incident occurred near to Juniper Court in Eastville, Bristol, sometime between 10.30pm and midnight on Thursday February 23.
Police investigating this crime would know like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at time and may have heard or seen anything.
In particular detectives would like to speak to a couple who were believed to be walking in the area of Juniper Court.
Anyone who may have information is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
The youth will appear at magistrate's court on March 1.
