Farfus looking to avoid DTM title scrap

Augusto Farfus has no desire to disrupt the DTM title scrap between Gary Paffett and Bruno Spengler during Sunday's season finale at Hockenheim. The Brazilian took his second successive pole position in qualifying, outpacing Mercedes driver Paffett by 0.121s and his own BMW stablemate Spengler by just 0.006s more. The RBM BMW driver wants a repeat of his Valencia win three weeks ago and intends to leave the battle for the championship behind him.
