BROMLEY Heath Girls Under-14s suffered an early shock in the cup against an excellent Frampton Rangers team before securing a 7-2 win.
Frampton scored in the first minute and were 2-1 ahead at the interval, before Bromley stepped up a few gears in the second half to beat an excellent footballing side in an entertaining match.
Bromley keeper Paige Botta had no chance with the goals; defenders Ellie Todd, Ellen May and Maddison Buss were often under pressure but had excellent games, while midfielders Rosie Williams, Renais Marston, Jess Jefferies, Chloe Fuller (1) and Lillie Baker also produced fine displays.
Four-goal Rhiannon Fowler and two-goal Lauren Penny were outstanding in the second half for Heath.
Meanwhile, in the league, Brislington Under-15s inflicted a 2-1 away victory over a Melksham Town team who hadn't lost a game in five years.
Bris, fielding a full-strength side for the first time this season, took a half-time lead through Mia Williams. They had plenty of defending to do and Molly Weaving was beaten by Millie Spratt's free-kick.
Yet there was more drama to come as, in the dying minutes, Emma Sims fired the ball in from outside the box and Sophie Allen reacted quickest to slot home for a superb victory for the travelling side.
Bradley Stoke Girls Under-10s turned in a lacklustre performance to go down 2-0 at home to fourth-placed Westbury Park Foxes, and ending an eight-match unbeaten.
Westbury Park played some great counter-attacking football, and a goal in each half was enough to consign Bradley Stoke to only their second league defeat of the season. The home team's chances were limited, with striker Kayleigh Jennings and Daisy Ackerman going close, while they were thankful for some excellent defending by Emily Hulbert and Leah Powell, backed up by the hard-working Naomi Adams in midfield.
