A MAN had to be rescued from mud by firefighters in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to the riverbank near Southville Road, Bedminster, at about 3.15am and were able to rescue the stricken man, believed to be 25, before he was treated by paramedics. He is not believed to have been seriously injured.
